KELLE CHANCELLOR
Choreographer

Kelle Chancellor has lived in Florida the majority of her life and lived in Brandon for her junior high and high school years. She has studied music for twenty-five years, singing and playing the piano. She sang with the Tampa Bay Children’s chorus, won a state vocal contest, and went on full scholarship to USF, receiving her degree in Voice Performance. She has traveled to several countries with vocal groups and was teaching music and performing in musical theater venues when she came as a guest to a Fred Astaire party.  She was hooked and soon became a dance instructor and has been a part of the Fred Astaire family since 2003.

Her love of dance and approach to teaching have made her a popular dance teacher, and she has also branched out into make-up consulting and choreography. She has won pre-championship divisions, a salsa competition and several awards for guests and outstanding achievements. At the 2016 Fred Astaire World Championships, Kelle won the 3rd place Top Pro Rhythm Teacher and the 4th place Top Overall Teacher, awards generally dominated by men. She also won the Top Female Instructor 2016 and 2017 Freddy Awards in Tampa Bay. Kelle is thrilled to co-own the Brandon studio and be a part of the Fred Astaire Tampa Bay award-winning region.

Kelle is a graduate of Bloomingdale High School, where she was President of the Ambassadors. In 2012, she returned to her alma mater, volunteering as Choreographer for the Ambassadors and Silhouettes show choirs. She creates and teaches choreography to both groups, in addition to hosting their annual summer camps.
